D – D Wranglers February 15, 2004
We were finally able to shake off some off some of those cabin fever cobwebs on Sunday and it really felt good. We had 19 shooters including three people shooting at D Bar D for the first time. Happy you found us and come again.
The day was cold and thankfully we had the luxury of heat and protection from the wind. The cobwebs were very evident so even with close targets misses weren’t the exception but we all had a good time and a lot of fun. We shot 6 stages but the scores are based on the first 5 stages.
Those first in class were:
T2 – Yukon Mike 198.22 M2 Maj. Sterner 231.48 D1 – Cap gun Kid 345.65 L2 – English Bev 276.75 49er Saloon Shot 235.77 S2 San Fernando 296.51
Top gun was Yukon Mike, it’s those new holsters that make him even faster. Congratulations Mike. To all the shooters I hope you had a safe fun shoot, I know I did.
Flat Iron asked if I was taking lessons from the Judge writing the scenarios, we only have these scenarios when we know Flat Iron is going to shoot.
Thanks again to the Chuck Wagon crew for another great spread, good job you guys.
I would also like to thank everyone for helping clean up afterwards. It sure gets done a lot quicker and we appreciate your help.
