Field Target is a relatively new shooting discipline for DCPA.
It is an Airgun Only event. It is informal in regiment and the targets are of
typical airgun quarry. It gives you the feeling of walking through the woods for
a small game hunt, taking shots at steel targets that require very precise hits
to go down. The preferred shooting position is sitting, but any shooting
position is legal provided the gun is supported solely by the shooter. Many
competitors opt for an off-hand (standing) position. DCPA Field Target matches
are run according to AAFTA (http://www.aafta.org)
