Dutchess County Pistol Association

The DCPA participates in local gun shows in order to recruit new members and advertise our events and classes.

There are typically two shows in which we participate with: Big Al's Gun Show at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY and Northeast Gun Shows at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Middletown, NY.

Working the DCPA table at the shows include recruiting new DCPA members, offering a sign-up for DCPA Pistol Safety Classes, advertising our shooting events, and handing out various shooting sports literature.

In addition to promoting the club, we also recruit for the NRA. We offer special prices on new memberships as well as membership renewals.

The DCPA table at the gun show is staffed by volutneer DCPA members. Working the gun show for the DCPA is a great way to acquire work hours to help fulfill your membership requirement.
