At Master Class Indoor Shooting Range

DCPA sponsors this .22 caliber pistol team to shoot at the Master Class Indoor Shooting Range.
Two .22 fifty-foot National Match courses are shot.
A "Match Course" consists of:
  • 10 rounds of slow (10 shots in 10 minutes)
  • 10 rounds of timed fire (5 shots in 20 seconds)
  • 10 rounds of rapid fire (5 shots in 10 seconds)
A maximum of 12 individuals can participate on DCPA’s team.
The top 4 scores from the individuals shooting that night make up the team score.
Therefore members of lower abilities can participate and not be concerned that they will adversely affect the team score.
If you miss an evening of shooting, you can "make-up" the score the following week.
Also, if you know you will not be able to shoot the following shoot, you can "shoot ahead" and your score will count for the team.
"Make ups" do not count towards the team score, only towards your individual average and awards.
Clubs from around the area compete. Trophies are awarded to the highest team and many individual awards are awarded as well.
